Flute Studio Spring recital to be held at CCU

   
Coastal Carolina University’s Flute Studio, under the direction of Amy Hardison Tully, will present its spring flute recital, performing classical and modern works composed for the flute on Sunday, April 13, at 3 p.m. in the Edwards Recital Hall. The public is invited; general admission is $5.

The program will feature works by Ernest Bloch, Albert Perilhou, Eldin Burton, Ian Clarke, Aaron Copland and Jules Demersseman. The recital will close with a performance by the entire studio, performing jazz inspired works for flute choir.

Members of the CCU flute studio are Jennifer Clark, Phyllis Farrow, Sterling Harlston, Casey Hawkins, Ann Rose and Amanda Shanks.

Ticket prices for CCU /HGTC students, faculty and staff are $3; children are free when accompanied by an adult.

Edwards Recital Hall is located in room 152 of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts at 133 Chanticleer Drive in Conway.
