Guitar Studio Recital concert to be held at CCU

   
Coastal Carolina University’s Guitar Studio Recital featuring current guitar majors and minors will spotlight solo, trio and guitar orchestra arrangements on Wednesday, April 16, in Edwards Recital Hall. The public is invited to this event; general admission tickets are $5.

The concert features guitar students from the studio of Daniel Hull, CCU teaching associate of music. There will be solos as well as performances by the CCU guitar trio and the CCU guitar ensemble.

CCU students participating are Zack Patton, Taylor McGuire, Kali Hatosy, Brad Chestnut, Jack Graham, Liz Kelley, Rob Whiteside, Chris Arluk and Tim Hardwick.

Some of the composers represented in the concert include Georg Phillip Telemann, Andrew York, Miguel Llobett, Francisco Tarrega, Leo Brouwer and Lorenz Hart.

Tickets are $5 for general admission, $3 for CCU/HGTC students, faculty and staff; admission is free for children accompanied by an adult.

The Recital Hall is located in room 152 of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts is located at 133 Chanticleer Drive W. on the CCU campus. Parking is available beside Edwards College or at Brittain Hall adjacent to Edwards.
