Coastal Carolina University is hosting Georgetown County Library Systems annual book sale on Sunday, Jan. 2 at the Waccamaw Higher Education Center in Litchfield.
Thousands of books culled from the library system, including many new and unused, will be sold for modest sums ($1 and less) to help raise funds to stock the shelves of the new Carvers Bay Library.
The sale will open Sunday, Jan. 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. and continue Monday through Wednesday, January 3 to 5, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Coastals Waccamaw Center is located at 160 Willbrook Blvd., just west of U.S. 17 next to the Hampton Inn in Litchfield. For more information, call 349-4033.
