The 62nd annual meeting of the Association for Continuing
Higher
Education, Inc. (ACHE), will be hosted by Coastal Carolina University's
Division of Extended Learning and Public Services. The meeting will be
held Oct. 14 to 17 at the Wyndham Myrtle Beach Resort. This year's
theme is "Sharing the Vision, Leading the Way: Continuing Educators in
the New Millennium."
"This meeting is a great way for leaders in the continuing
education profession to learn about ways to create a new vision of
education for the learners we serve," said Peter Balsamo, dean of
Coastal's Division of Extended Learning and Public Services.
ACHE is an institution-based organization of colleges,
universities and individuals dedicated to the promotion of lifelong
learning and excellence in continuing higher education. ACHE encourages
professional networks, research and exchange of information for its
members and advocates continuing higher education as a means of
enhancing and improving society.
Coastal's Division of Extended Learning and Public Services
provides extensive credit and non-credit learning opportunities for the
