Latin singer Luis Damon and his 10-member salsa band will be the featured entertainment at Coastal Carolina University's annual Hispanic Celebration which will be held Wednesday, Oct. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Spadoni Park on Coastal's campus. The event is free and open to the public. Food and merchandise will be for sale.

Damon and his band performed at Coastal's Cultural Celebration in April. Skits by Coastal students, faculty and staff will also be performed.

The event will offer food and music from the countries of Central, Latin and South America. Posters, maps and other information will be displayed.

In the case of inclement weather, Damon and his band will perform Oct. 11 in Wheelwright Auditorium while the Hispanic Celebration will be held Wednesday, Oct. 18.
