Latin jazz, standards and musical surprises will be on the program for Jazz After Hours at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at Coastal Carolina University. The concert is free and open to the public.

Coastal's 20-musician jazz ensemble with a big band sound includes students and community musicians who will perform in Wheelwright Auditorium. The program will feature works by Dizzy Gillespie, Glenn Miller, Charlie Parker, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn.

Dan O'Reilly, a teaching associate at Coastal who performs in various bands and orchestras around the Grand Strand, directs the band.
