Rates and fees have been set for Quail Creek Golf Club at Coastal Carolina University. Beginning today, the 18-hole course will be operated by Coastal through its Professional Golf Management program.

Horry Georgetown Technical College will be responsible for maintenance of the golf course and associated grounds.

As a Fourth of July special, CCU and HGTC faculty, staff and students may play the course for $20 from Friday noon through Monday. The fee includes car and green fees.

Membership fees are as follows:

- Public membership, $825/year for single; $1,225 for family

- CCU and HGTC students , $300/semester

- CCU and HGTC faculty and staff $600/year for singles; $900 year for family

- CCU and HGTC alumni, $725/year

- Corporate memberships, $2,500/year (includes golf privileges for four)

The course is open for limited public play. Membership golf car fees are $9 for nine holes and $15 for 18 holes. For more information, call the Quail Creek Pro Shop at 347-0549.
