Comedian Bobby Lee to perform at Coastal

Comedian Bobby Lee will perform at Coastal Carolina University at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19 in Wheelwright Auditorium. The performance is free and open to the public.

A native of San Diego, Calif., Lee shares his views on the cultural clashes of growing up as a first generation Korean-American. Lee's career took off in 1995 when Pauly Shore spotted him on stage at the Comedy Store, a California comedy club, and asked him to open for him in Las Vegas.

Lee recently starred in the film "Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle" and is a regular cast member on FOX's "MAD TV." He has appeared on NBC's "Friday Night Videos," Comedy Central's "Make Me Laugh," Showtime's "Latino Laugh Festival," "Funny is Funny," and Nickelodeon. He appeared in the films, "The Main Room" and "The Underground Comedy Movie." He has also been in over 20 commercials including ones for Maxwell House Coffee and IBM.
