CCU music instructor to present flute recital at CCU

Coastal Carolina University will present a faculty flute recital featuring Amy Tully, instructor of music, on Monday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. The event is free and open to the public.

This performance will feature music by 20th century American composers, including Katherine Hoover, Lowell Liebermann and Robert Muczynski. Tully will be accompanied by Winifred Goodwin on piano. Goodwin is a pianist for South Carolina Philharmonic of Columbia.

Tully holds the Certificate of Graduate Study in music performance from the University of South Carolina. She earned her master’s degree in musicology from Northwestern University and her bachelor’s degree in flute performance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Tully is a member of the Long Bay Symphony and has been a featured guest soloist at the First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach and in the Lake City concert series.
