Coastal to host Renaissance Fair Day on Feb. 18

Adults and retirees can choose from six workshops and seminars at Coastal Carolina University’s annual Renaissance Fair Day on Saturday, Feb. 18 on the Coastal campus. Topics include investing, health issues, gardening and more. Fee for participation is $15 per person.

Following a Continental breakfast and registration at 8:30 a.m., participants attend three courses of their choice. Seminars and workshops will be held in the Edwards Humanities and Fine Arts Building. The registration fee includes breakfast, and the program will be finished by 12:30 p.m.

Scheduled seminars, led by Coastal faculty and staff as well as area experts, include:

• Creative Writing

• Anti-Ageing Medicine

• Natural Areas of the Grand Strand

• Letters Home From WWII

• Investing in Retirement

• How to Start a Herb Garden

The program is sponsored by Coastal Carolina University’s Division of Academic Outreach Lifelong Learning.
