Nagy named to the South Carolina Planned Giving Councel

Alan Nagy, vice president of University Advancement at
Coastal
Carolina University, was recently named to the South Carolina Planned
Giving Council (SCPGC) Board of Directors. He will serve a three-year
term beginning in January 2001.
Nagy, who joined the Coastal staff in 1997, earned a bachelor's degree from Olivet College in Olivet, Mich., and a master's degree from Central Michigan University. Prior to joining Coastal, Nagy was director of development at Illinois State, development associate at Purdue University and director of development at Olivet.
SCPGC was formed in 1993 to promote a collaborative effort among members of the state's non-profit development community and allied professionals in serving the charitable, financial and estate planning needs of donors. SCPGC seeks to promote the broader goals of philanthropy while enhancing the professional skills and knowledge of its members.
