Coastal Carolina University's Leadership Development Council will host a fundraising powder-puff football tournament on Sunday, Oct. 29 at noon on the Santee Practice Field at CCU.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will help support the Children's Miracle Network. Donations will be accepted during the tournament, which will be held on Coastal's Intramural Fields adjacent to Santee Resident Hall.

Coastal's Leadership Development Council teamed with the Student Government Association to organize the games, which will include females on the field and males on the sidelines. Several teams consisting of Coastal students will compete with males serving as coaches and cheerleaders.

Spectators are urged to bring their own seating.
