The Uncastables host 'Pajama Party Improv Show'

February 16, 2007

Coastal Carolina University's improvisational troupe, The Uncastables, will host a "Pajama Party Improv Show" on Thursday, March 1 at 9 p.m. in the Black Box Theater. This program may contain themes or language inappropriate for children.

With suggestions from the audience the troupe create hilarious sketches about everything from Helen Keller to reindeer massacres. The Uncastables use adult themes and language in their routines, "mostly because it is funny when a puppet swears," says Melissa-Anne Blizzard Hall, a theater staff member who is part of the troupe.

Cast members include the following Coastal students: Bryan Robinson, Brian Dunlop, Leigh Hendrix, Frances Farrar, Kirk Johnson, Dominic Sellers and Townsend Pass.

The event is free and open to the public but tickets are required. The Black Box Theater is located in the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. Tickets for the performance may be picked up from Wheelwright Box Office Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or 90 minutes prior the performance outside of Black Box Theater.
