GERMAN SCHOLAR TO SPEAK ON EUROPEAN UNION

Ulrich Schüle, professor of economics and international
business
at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz, Germany, will speak at
Coastal Carolina University about current issues in European
integration Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 2:15 p.m. in Wall Building 309. The
talk is free and open to the public.
Schüle is director of the International Business Program at Mainz’s University of Applied Sciences, which is currently developing an educational exchange partnership with Coastal Carolina University. He has developed a variety of dual degree and exchange programs with many universities in Europe and the United States.
Schüle earned a Ph.D. in economics in 1997 and has experience both in teaching and consulting in Europe, Asia and the United States. In 1997, he was named the Jean Monnet Professor for European Integration by the European Commission.
