Lifelong Learning open houses start Jan. 7

"Meet and Greet" open house sessions for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Coastal Carolina University have been scheduled for Monday, Jan. 7 through Wednesday, Jan. 9. Interested participants can view facilities, meet instructors, hear free lectures and learn about the noncredit community course offerings.

The sessions are as follows:

The Waccamaw Higher Education Center, located at 160 Willbrook Blvd., Litchfield; the open house is Monday, Jan. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

North Myrtle Beach Lifelong Learning at the J. Bryan Floyd Recreation Center; open house is Tuesday, Jan. 8, from 9 a.m. to noon

Myrtle Beach Lifelong Learning at Webster University, 4589 Oleander Dr., off 48th Avenue North; open house is Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Conway campus, Foundation Center, U.S. 501; the open house is Wednesday, Jan. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon

Georgetown Higher Education Center in the Georgetown Shopping Plaza, 1273 N. Fraser St., Wednesday, Jan. 9 from 1 to 4 p.m.

The winter/spring catalog of courses is also available at all five CCU locations. The catalog, which offers detailed descriptions of all CCU noncredit courses, has also been placed in local libraries and chambers of commerce.

On the main campus, the catalogs can be found in University Hall, bookstore, student center and Foundation Center.
