The Office of Marketing Communications at Coastal Carolina
University received three awards at the Council for Advancement and
Support of Education (CASE) District III Conference held
Feb. 18 to 21 in Atlanta.
Coastal earned awards in the following categories: photography,
newsletter publishing improvement and paid advertisements.
A photograph by Rob Wyeth won an award of excellence. The photo is
being used in Coastal recruitment and advertisement pieces.
Coastal's faculty/staff newsletter earned a special merit award.
Recognized for the award were the editorial staff of Jerry Rashid and
Doug Bell, and graphic designer Rob Wyeth.
In the paid advertisements category, Coastal's Florence Awareness
Initiative Ad Campaign earned a special merit award. Recognized for the
award were the editorial staff of Anne Monk and Doug Bell, and graphic
designers Joe Rackley and Rob Wyeth.
CASE is the largest international association of educational
institutions, with nearly 2,900 colleges, universities, independent
elementary and secondary schools in 44 countries, including the United
States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom. Representing these
institutions are more than 22,000 advancement professionals in the
disciplines of alumni relations, communications and fund raising.
CASE District III includes schools from Alabama, Florida, Georgia,
Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and
Virginia.
