Phase II, a student performance art group, will present a Christian Expo on Sunday, May 4 at 4 p.m. in Wall Auditorium at Coastal Carolina University. The performance is free and open to the public.

"The Evolution of Gospel Music" is the theme of the show, which will feature 20 CCU student performers ranging in age from freshmen to seniors. The show will include performances by the choral group the Manifest Ensemble, the Handz of Praise dance team and The Christian Poets.

The organization is working to become a member of the National Association of Collegiate and High School Gospel Choirs, which trains students in leading Christian and gospel choirs.

Phase II's mission is to bring together CCU students who would like to express and develop their artistic talents - song, dance, poetry - via a Christian platform.
