New trustee joins Coastal Carolina University's Board

Robert Templeton of Neeses has been selected to serve on Coastal Carolina University's Board of Trustees. His term expires in 2009.

Templeton is a district manager and senior financial adviser for Waddell & Reed Financial Advisors; he has been associated with the firm since 1995. He is also a licensed minister. Templeton earned an associate degree in mechanical engineering from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College.

Templeton's community involvement includes membership in the Orangeburg Kiwanis Club, the Orangeburg Chamber of Commerce and former chair for Child Evangelism Fellowship. He is also a volunteer baseball coach for Orangeburg Christian Academy and a member of the Pinehill Ramblers, a local bluegrass group.
