The C-SPAN Civics Bus, a 45-foot mobile production studio and demonstration center operated by the cable public affairs network, will travel to Coastal Carolina University on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 4 as part of its "100 Days, 100 Schools" program. The bus will stop on the University's Prince Lawn from noon to 3 p.m. and will be open to the public.

The bus, which is visiting 100 schools during the first 100 days of the new presidential administration, features the latest television production equipment. Students, teachers and other visitors will have a chance to tour the bus during the visit and learn about the many resources C-SPAN offers, and about internship opportunities for students.

C-SPAN personnel talk about the network's coverage of the new administration and offer information about the C-SPAN Video Library and C-SPAN Classroom, a free membership service for educators with downloadable video clips.
