Medical ethics topic of discussion at Coastal Carolina University

Karen Salmon, a claims consultant and attorney, will give a talk on medical ethics and the law on Thursday, March 5 at Coastal Carolina University. Her talk, "The Stark Law: Has the Intersection of Medical Ethics and Law Prevented Conflicts of Interest?" will begin at from 2:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. The event is free and open to the public.

Salmon earned a juris doctor degree from the New England School of Law in Boston. Her professional experience includes representing the physically and mentally disabled and working with Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Department of Health and Human Services in Boston.
