Coastal Carolina University's Saxophone Ensemble will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 13 in the Recital Hall of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. The event is free, but tickets are required.

The ensemble performs a variety of musical styles, including a mix of classical and jazz. Songs will include arrangements of selections by J.S. Bach, Mozart, Piazzolla, Strauss and Bizet. Pieces will be performed exclusively on saxophone.

Dan O'Reilly, instructor of music at Coastal Carolina University, is the director of the group. He directs the Jazz After Hours Big Band, the After Hours Improvisation combo, the Saxophone Ensemble and POP 101, a contemporary music ensemble.
