Graduating seniors display work in University gallery

Two exhibitions of graduating seniors' art work open Monday, April 20 in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Gallery at Coastal Carolina University and will remain on display through Saturday, May 9. The gallery is located in room 128 of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. Both exhibitions are free and open to the public.

Works by 29 visual arts graduating students are being featured. "Portfolios I" is Monday, April 20 through Monday, April 27 with an opening reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. "Portfolios II" will be on display Thursday, April 30 through Saturday, May 9 with the opening reception on Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Seniors in the first exhibition include: Ashley Acquaviva, Kimberly Blalock, Brittany Bonney, Brentley Broughton, Ashley Clark, Brandon Count, Chris Eley, Sara Evans, Nicole Fant, Taylor Hemple, Nicole Jablon, Stephen Kelly, Brandon Lockett and David Utterbach.

Seniors displaying their work in the second exhibition are: Chris Arcari, Robert Byrd, Jennifer Custer, Craig Lindner, Adrian Marlow, Jeanne McDonald, Amber Miller, Kent Moore, Maria Phillips, Felipe Rancier, Juliet Richardson, Caitlin Scholl, Saura Stuhlman. Jessica Turner and Katie Voress.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday, May 9 from noon until 4 p.m. Bryan Gallery programs are supported in part by the Office of Student Activities and Leadership, the Coastal Educational Foundation, the Friends of Bryan Gallery and the South Carolina Arts Commission.
