The Coastal Carolina University emergency operations team was briefed at 9 a.m. on the status of the wildfire situation.

The team has determined that conditions do not warrant any changes in the University's normal schedule. The University will operate on a normal basis, and classes will be held as regularly scheduled.

University officials are continuing to monitor the situation, and the emergency team will meet again at 2:30 p.m. Check the Web site for updates.
