As a cost-saving effort, Coastal Carolina University will close many of its administrative offices on Fridays during the summer, May 11 to Aug. 7. Office hours will be extended Monday through Thursday. Employees will have the option to work either from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, and from either 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursdays.

Exceptions include Orientation weeks (June 15 to 19, June 22 to 26, and July 13 to 17), when the University will be open Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..

The University will be closed Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3 for Independence Day holiday.

Kimbel Library:

Monday through Thursday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sunday: 1 to 9 p.m.

Recreation Center (including pool) will be open for summer:

Monday through Thursday: 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday: 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturdays and Sundays closed

Office of Admissions/Financial Aid and Office of Student Activities and Leadership:

Monday through Thursday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday: 8 a.m. to noon
