Photo exhibition opens in Bryan Art Gallery on campus

"Fotabulous: Coastal Carolina University and Horry Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) Student Photography Exhibition" opens Thursday, May 14 in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery at Coastal Carolina University. The show is free and open to the public.

The photography of 17 Coastal Carolina University students and four HGTC students will be shown first in the Bryan Gallery until June 22 and then at the Richardson Gallery on the HGTC campus from June 29 to Aug. 27.

The first juried exhibition of student photography at Coastal Carolina University will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; closed on Fridays and University holidays.

The exhibition will be displayed at HGTC's Richardson Gallery from Tuesday, June 30 to Thursday, Aug. 27, and will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m., or by appointment. A closing awards reception will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 in the Richardson Gallery.

Coastal Carolina University students displaying work include: Lindsey Mummaugh, Danielle King, Lisa Tyree, Alison Langston, Brittany Hallick, Chavdor Pavlov, Brendan Sullivan, Josh Lebowitz, Tracey Daniska, Natasha Crabtree, Nicole Horton, Ursula Hockman, Tim Hodge, Chris Ferry, Brittany Bonney, Stephanie Drum and Alexandra Vitale.

HGTC students whose work will be displayed include: Kris Thapoung, Maggie Georgieva, Katarzyna Krojak and Thereze Eldrid.
