As assistant director, Lewis will manage all activities and office operations for the CEF including coordinating various functions with University administration and outside constituents.

Lewis joined the Coastal Carolina University staff in 1989 as an administrative specialist in the physical plant department, and advanced to administrative assistant for the Office of Facilities Management in 1994. In 2004 she joined the Office of University Advancement and provided support to both the CEF and the Coastal Carolina University Student Housing Foundation.

Lewis earned an associate's degree from Horry Georgetown Technical College in 1979 and completed both the Associate Public Manager Program, sponsored by the State Human Resources Office, and the College Business Managers Institute Program in July 2000.
