Coastal Carolina University will broadcast its spring 2001 commencement ceremony live over the Internet on May 5 at www.coastal.edu/graduation. Live coverage will begin at 8:50 a.m. Approximately 480 candidates for graduation will be recognized

Historian and author Walter Edgar will deliver the commencement address.

To view the ceremony, an IBM compatible PC with a sound card and speakers or an Apple Macintosh computer is needed. Viewers will also need a copy of RealPlayer or Windows Media Player software. These are free applications that can be downloaded at www.coastal.edu/ graduation.
