Coastal Carolina University’s Saxophone Studio Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 12 in the Recital Hall of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. General admission is $3, and children (10 and under) are admitted free.

The Saxophone Ensemble, directed by Dan O’Reilly, instructor of music at CCU, performs a variety of musical styles with concerts featuring a mix of classical, jazz and popular melodies. The performance will include works by Schumann, Rimsky-Korsakov, Niehaus, Bach, Weidoeft and others. Students will perform on alto, tenor and baritone saxes.

Student performers include Michelle Loscalzo, Shanice Pinckney, Brendan McCormick, Dan Vigo, Stephen Dinda, Josh Maxwell, Jacqui King and Jon Miller. The students will be performing individually and in small groups. Rebecca Rollins will accompany on piano.
