Coastal Carolina University will host its annual Day of Remembrance ceremony at noon on Friday, April 16 at the Graham Bell Tower in Spadoni Park Circle. The observance will honor 11 members of the CCU community – students, faculty and staff – who have died during the past year.

The event, held in conjunction with the anniversary of the tragic shooting at Virginia Tech in 2007, is open to the campus community. The 33 victims of that tragedy will be remembered as well.

The CCU Day of Remembrance is sponsored by Student Government Association and Counseling Services.
