Coastal Carolina University’s Lifelong Learning Society has elected three new members to its advisory board. Lou Gilles of Conway, John Wachtman of Conway and Connie Hunt of Murrells Inlet will each serve three-year terms.

The advisory board, established in 1998, helps develop curricula for the Lifelong Learning Society, a learning-in-retirement program administered by Coastal’s Division of Extended Learning and Public Services.

Coastal’s Lifelong Learning Society has more than 800 members and offers more than 80 courses each semester on subjects ranging from computers and new technology to art, literature, local history, finance and creative writing.

Fall semester courses are scheduled to begin Sept. 17. For more information, call 349-2665 or visit www.coastal.edu/learn on the Internet.
