Coastal Carolina University's Lifelong Learning Society has
elected three new members to its advisory board. Lou Gilles of Conway,
John Wachtman of Conway and Connie Hunt of Murrells Inlet will each
serve three-year terms.
The advisory board, established in 1998, helps develop curricula
for the Lifelong Learning Society, a learning-in-retirement program
administered by Coastal's Division of Extended Learning and Public
Services.
Coastal's Lifelong Learning Society has more than 800 members and
offers more than 80 courses each semester on subjects ranging from
computers and new technology to art, literature, local history, finance
and creative writing.
Fall semester courses are scheduled to begin Sept. 17. For more
