Coastal Carolina University will present "Passing the Baton II," a joint concert featuring the North Myrtle Beach Community Band and the future music educators of the University, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 2 in Wheelwright Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

The organization is directed by Tonya Propst, assistant professor of music.
The concert will feature selections which highlight the full range of wind band literature from contemporary compositions to classic marches.
