Coastal Carolina University is offering textbook rental services at the CCU Bookstore this fall, which could save students as much as 50 percent on their book purchases.

Rent-A-Text will offer students a rental option on 276 titles (available in the store and online by July 26) selected by faculty for use this fall.

Coastal Carolina University’s textbook rental program will be available to students in the store and online with in-store pick up, and will allow students to choose a form of payment including financial aid. Students will also have the option to purchase the textbook at the end of the term.

"Delivering a rental option from the CCU Bookstore will be great for our students," says CCU bookstore manager Cindy Most. "It offers the students another way to control the cost of their education."

Rent-A-Text will be offered through the University’s ongoing partnership with Follett Higher-Education Group, which services the CCU Bookstore.
