Coastal Carolina University will host its annual Day of Remembrance ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, at the Graham Bell Tower in Spadoni Park Circle. The observance will honor members of the CCU community – students, faculty and staff – who have died during the past year.

The event, held in conjunction with the anniversary of the tragic shooting at Virginia Tech in 2007, is open to the campus community. The 33 victims of that tragedy will be remembered as well.

The CCU Day of Remembrance is sponsored by the Student Government Association and Counseling Services.
