Psychotherapist, life coach, teacher and author Kathy Murphy will launch her book and introduce her life design program titled “Your Possible Life” from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Coastal Carolina University’s Myrtle Beach Education Center and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, at the Waccamaw Higher Education Center.

“Your Possible Life,” which Murphy has taught in her private practice and personal growth seminars, is a guide to designing a life that answers one’s inner callings.

Murphy has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and education, a master’s degree in applied psychology and a doctorate in counselor education. In addition to her private practice as a counselor, she is an adjunct graduate professor in advanced theories of counseling at Webster University in Charleston and provides professional training for counselors, educators and businesses. She also created the company, Retreats by Design, which offers personal growth experiences for individuals, groups and businesses/institutions.
