Human trafficking film to be shown at CCU

A select screening of the documentary film "Sex + Money: A National Search for Human Worth" will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in the Wall Auditorium at Coastal Carolina University. The film, about child sex trafficking in America and the movement to stop it, is free and open to the public.

The screening will be followed by a question-and-answer session led by local experts. Local organizations fighting human trafficking will have tables outside the auditorium immediately after viewing the film. These include Rape Crisis Center, CCU Women’s Resource Center, Five Rivers Friends Meeting, Eastern Carolina Coalition Against Human Trafficking (ECCAHT), Project Lighthouse/ Sea Haven and Zonta International.
