Pianist Gary Miles Stegall of Coastal Carolina University and Belgian pianist Nadine Deletaille will present "Bachanalia: A Celebration of the Keyboard Music of J.S. Bach" on Monday, Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the new Recital Hall in the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts Building, room 152. The concert is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature some of Bach's best loved keyboard pieces, including the Toccata in E Minor and the Concerto for Two Keyboards in C Minor.

Stegall, assistant professor of piano and music history at Coastal, has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Mexico and Egypt. He recently completed a concert tour of London, Paris and Cairo. Stegall spends his summers as a member of the faculty of the Font-Neuve School of Music in Montauroux, France. He earned a bachelor's degree from the North Carolina School of the Arts, a master's degree from the University of South Carolina, a doctoral degree from the University of Maryland, and the Diplome/1st prize with grand distinction from the l'Academie de musique de Boitsfort in Brussels, Belgium.

Deletaille was trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels. She is known throughout Europe for her achievements both as a performer and a teacher. In 1971 she founded the Centre Musicale Font-Neuve in Montaroux, France, to provide a center of learning focusing on the holistic development of the total musician. Deletaille has performed widely in Belgium, France, Italy, the Czech Republic and the United States, where she made her New York City debut at Carnegie Recital Hall.
