'Rodgers and Hammerstein' performance set at CCU
The show is a presentation and analysis of several Rodgers and Hammerstein plays from their “Golden Decade,” considered to be from 1943 to 1953. The show will incorporate video and audio clips and an audience discussion, followed by a Q-and-A session. Live performances from “South Pacific” “Oklahoma” and “Carousel” will feature associate theater professor Steven Gross, along with CCU musical theater seniors Emily Brockway, Meredith Gratton, Caleb Jernigan and Ryan Shaefer.
The Community Dialogue Series is sponsored by the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts Board of Visitors. The Community Dialogue Series brings the diverse and talented faculty of the Edwards College to the Grand Strand community to share their knowledge and talents via lectures, performances and roundtable discussions.
