Saturday Tour Programs scheduled

High school juniors and seniors and other Grand Strand residents interested in learning more about enrolling in Coastal Carolina University are invited to attend one of the university's upcoming Saturday Tour Programs. Sponsored by Coastal's Office of Admissions, the programs will be held from 10 a.m. to noon in Wall Auditorium on the following Saturdays: Sept. 29, Oct. 6, and Nov. 10.

According to Judy Vogt, associate vice president for enrollment services at Coastal, participants will learn about Coastal's admissions guidelines and opportunities for financial aid and scholarships. Also planned are guided tours of the campus, including freshman residence halls, and discussions with campus administrators and Coastal students.

Coastal, which has more than 4,700 students from 45 states and 43 countries, offers 40 academic programs including resort tourism management, education, professional golf management, computer science, music, and a dual-degree engineering program in cooperation with Clemson University.
