CCU Flute Choir presents a spring recital

The Coastal Carolina University Flute Choir will present its spring recital, featuring classical and modern flute compositions, in the Recital Hall of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts on Monday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. A ticket is required.

Eight CCU flute majors and minors make up the Flute Choir, which is lead by CCU assistant professor of music Amy Hardison Tully. Individual students will perform works by Toru Takemitsu, Georg Philip Telemann, Peter Schickele, Henri Busser, C.P.E. Bach, Eugene Bozza, Johann Quantz and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The choir will perform musical compositions by Gabriel Faure, Ricky Lombardo and Francois Gossec.

General admission tickets are $3 and can be purchased at the Wheelwright Auditorium Box Office. CCU and Horry Georgetown Technical College students can receive one free ticket per valid ID. CCU and HGTC faculty/staff members can receive two free tickets per valid ID. Children ages 10 and under are admitted free with a ticket, but must be accompanied by an adult.

The Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts is located at 133 Chanticleer Drive West on the CCU campus.
