A Get Out the Vote for Elise Testone party is scheduled for Wednesday, April 18, from 8 to 11 p.m. at Beef O'Brady's in Carolina Forest, sponsored by Coastal Carolina University's Office of Alumni Relations.

The public is invited to come dine, watch the popular Fox-TV reality show "American Idol" and vote for Testone, a CCU alumna who graduated in 2005. The singer, a native of New Jersey, is in the top seven singers for the second week running, but she needs votes to stay.

Friends and fans are urged to vote for the Charleston singer, who has been in the bottom three for four weeks running.
