Coastal Carolina University's Kimbel Library is staging its annual De-Stress Fest, from Monday, Apr. 30, through Friday, May 4. The fest, an opportunity for students to participate in activities meant to provide a break from the rigors of finals week, is free to CCU students.
On Monday, Apr. 30, at 6 p.m., Piņata Therapy will give students an opportunity to let out some steam by taking a swing at a piņata, while relieving stress and receiving free candy.
The Make A Stress Ball workshop takes place on Wednesday, May 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. Balloons and sand will be provided for students to make a quick and easy stress reliever.
Library employees will be providing free snacks to students throughout the week.
Other events scheduled for the fest include jigsaw puzzles, word searches and an expression wall, where students are encouraged to write or draw what inspires them.
