"Football 101: Ladies Night," a primer to the game, will be offered on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the George F. "Buddy" Sasser Hall of Fame on the third floor of Adkins Field House.

The Coastal Carolina University Department of Athletics and the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation will host the session. Refreshments and light fare will be served.

Chanticleer Head Football Coach Joe Moglia will present an overview of the forthcoming season and take questions. Following a tour of Adkins Field House, Moglia and members of his staff will explain the rules and finer points of the game as well as provide an "insider's look" at athletic training and the equipment necessary to play college football.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Current football season ticket holders may purchase tickets for $10 each. Space is limited.
