Coastal Carolina University, in partnership with WBTW News 13, The Morning News, The Sun News and Francis Marion University, will air a live debate between the Republican and Democratic candidates for South Carolina's new 7th Congressional District seat at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Wheelwright Auditorium. Attendees should be seated by 6:45 p.m.

News 13 anchor Bob Juback will moderate the debate. News13 reporter and weekend anchor Brie Jackson, along with John Sweeney, content producer from The Morning News, and Dan Golden, editorial writer from The Sun News, will make up the media panel. In addition, candidates will answer questions submitted in advance by viewers and readers.

Tickets are available to the general public. Admission is free, but a ticket is required. Tickets will be made available on a first come/first served basis at CCU's Wheelwright Box Office. Contact Wheelwright at 843-349-2502 for details.
