Dr. Mohib Zegham will discuss topics such as how Afghans view the American military and how long U.S. and NATO troops should remain in Afghanistan. Zegham will also speak on his role as a writer, and how his experiences have influenced his short stories, as well as how being a member of the Afghan National Army and living in Kabul has influenced his writings and helps him to convey those feelings to others outside of Afghanistan.

Zegham directs the children's book publishing house Mosawer and is the editor of the cultural magazine Sapida. He is the author of two short story collections, three children's books, and the novels "The Suicide Bomber" and "The Order of the President." He regularly translates medical articles, children's literature and works of psychology into Pashto. Zegham is currently in the University of Iowa's International Writers Program and returns to Kabul in December.

The Wall College of Business is located at 119 Chanticleer Drive E. in Conway.

CCU's Center for Peace and Conflict is the sponsor for this event. For more information, contact Kenneth Townsend at 843-349-2417.
