Tickets are now available to the general public for the upcoming Elise Testone concert Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m. at Coastal Carolina University's Wheelwright Auditorium. Testone, a CCU alumna, wowed "American Idol" viewers for most of Season 11 and placed sixth in the top 10.

Tickets for "Elise Testone Unplugged W/ Special Guests" are $5 for students and $10 for faculty, staff, and alumni, and $15 to the general public. Seats will be reserved.

Testone, a 2005 graduate, will perform her own brand of pop, soul, jazz and rock with a small acoustic backup band. She will meet and greet with fans and friends in the Wheelwright lobby after the show for photos and autographs.

The New Jersey native was just voted Singer of the Year for the Charleston City Paper Awards. She earned a degree in music at CCU, where she frequently performed with the late English professor Paul Rice and vocal professor David Bankston, as well as in the POP 101 group and various bands around town.

Testone has been living in Charleston since 2006, working as a voice teacher and performing at various venues around town with her backup band, The Freeloaders.
