CCU to host Elect Her: Campus Women Win program
CCU is one of approximately 30 colleges and universities selected to host the 2013 training program. Other participating universities include: Denison, Duke, George Washington, Howard, Louisiana State, Stanford and the University of Virginia, among others.
The daylong training will be on Saturday, Feb. 2, in the Wall Boardroom. Elect Her: Campus Women Win training is open and free to CCU students; however, participation is limited to the first 50 registrants. Registration for the training will be coordinated through the Office of Student Activities and Leadership and will open Jan. 14. The university's student liaison is Kaitlin Page, a junior majoring in political science.
The Elect Her: Campus Women Win initiative is supported by Women and Philanthropy and Leadership for Coastal Carolina University, and is a collaboration between the American Association of University Women and the nonprofit organization Running Start.
