The aim of the Muslim Journeys Bookshelf is to establish an introduction as well as deeper studies related to the intricate history, beliefs and practices of Islamic cultures in the United States and around the world. This installation is the first in the NEH Bridging Cultures Initiative. These bookshelves offer libraries the tools to engage the community in discussions about cultural diversity and civility.
