CCU student artists display works in new exhibit

Senior art students re-create the "Raft of the Medusa" painting.
Coastal Carolina University graphic design and studio art students will display their art in a two-part exhibition in CCU's Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery. The first exhibit, Portfolio I: Graphic Design, will run from April 18 to April 26 with an open reception and lecture on Thursday, April 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The second installment, Portfolio II: Studio Art, will follow on May 2 through May 11 with an opening reception and lecture on Friday, May 10, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The events are free and open to the public.

The works featured in both exhibitions are final senior projects produced by graduating students pursuing degrees in graphic design or studio art. These shows represent the culmination of four years of study and preparation for careers in the students' respective fields.
