CCU monitors tropical storm Andrea

June 6, 2013

Horry and Georgetown counties are now under a tropical storm warning as Tropical Storm Andrea is tracking to reach our area early Friday morning. This is the first tropical storm of the season. At this time, high winds, possible flooding in low-lying areas and possible isolated tornadoes are forecasted.

If weather circumstances become more severe, CCU will communicate weather warnings first through the CCU Alert system.

If you have not yet signed up for CCU Alert, please do so now, and students are strongly encouraged to sign up their parents. Go to: http://www.coastal.edu/emergency/ccualert.html
