CCU's Summer Academies conclude with public programs

The 2013 Summer Music Academy at Coastal Carolina University will conclude with two public concerts at 5 and 7 p.m. on Friday, June 14, at Wheelwright Auditorium. The concerts are free and open to the public. The Choral Concert will feature the 2013 Academy Choir and High School Orchestra at 5 p.m. The Orchestra Concert featuring the Middle School Band and High School Wind Ensemble is at 7 p.m.

The Visual Arts Academy's annual exhibition and Duct Tape Fashion Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, June 28, in the Edwards Courtyard of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts building and in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery. The fashion show is at 10 a.m., and the exhibit is open until 1 p.m.

The Summer Performing Arts Academy show is on Friday, June 28, at 4 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium, also free and open to the public.

The annual summer programs offer concentrations in music, visual arts and performing arts.
